APP Cardiology Academy is a service of JPL Group & Cattle LLC ("we," "us," or "our"). This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and protect your information when you use the Service.

When you create an account, we collect your name, email address, and password (stored securely using encryption).

1.2 Purchase Information

When you purchase the course, we record your purchase date and access start date. Payment processing is handled by Stripe — we do not store your credit card number.

1.3 Usage and Progress Data

We collect data on your activity within the Service, including lessons completed, assessment scores, and session timestamps. This data is used to power your course progress dashboard.

1.4 CME Activity Data

If you pursue CME credit through Learner+, data necessary to verify completion may be shared with Learner+ per their requirements.

2. How We Use Your Information

We use your information to:

• Provide and maintain the Service
• Process purchases and verify course access
• Track and display your course progress
• Send account-related communications
• Respond to support requests
• Improve the Service through aggregate usage analysis

We do NOT sell your personal information to third parties or share it for marketing purposes without your consent.

3. Third-Party Services

3.1 Supabase (Authentication & Database)

Handles user authentication and stores account and progress data. Privacy Policy

3.2 Stripe (Payments)

Processes purchases securely. We do not store payment card data. Privacy Policy

3.3 Anthropic (AI Processing)

Powers AI tutoring features through the Claude API. Your interactions with AI features are processed according to Anthropic's API terms. Anthropic does not use API data to train their models. Privacy Policy

3.4 Bunny.net (Video Streaming)

Delivers video content. Viewing activity may be logged for access control. Privacy Policy

3.5 Learner+ (CME Processing)

If you pursue CME credit, completion data is shared with Learner+ as required. Their privacy practices govern that data.

3.6 Railway (Hosting)

Hosts the application infrastructure. Privacy Policy

4. Data Security

We implement industry-standard security measures including encrypted data transmission (HTTPS/TLS), secure password hashing, and access controls. No system is completely secure — you are responsible for maintaining the security of your account credentials.

5. Data Retention

• Account data: Retained while your account is active. You may request deletion at any time.
• Progress data: Retained for the duration of your access period and a reasonable time after.
• Payment records: Retained as required for tax and legal compliance.

7. Children's Privacy

The Service is not intended for individuals under 18 years of age. We do not knowingly collect information from minors.

8. California Privacy Rights

California residents have additional rights under the California Consumer Privacy Act (CCPA), including the right to know what personal information we collect, the right to delete it, and the right to opt out of its sale. We do not sell personal information.

9. Changes to This Policy

We may update this Privacy Policy periodically. Material changes will be communicated via email or through the Service. The "Effective Date" at the top indicates when the policy was last revised.
